Noida’s elevated road, spanning from Sector 18 to Sector 61, will soon undergo the third phase of maintenance work.
As part of this phase, a section of the road will be closed for repairs starting Sunday night or early Monday morning.
This development follows the completion of repair works between sectors 18 and 24, where mastic asphalt has been laid over 25% of the road.
Current Status and Future Plans:
- As of Sunday evening, two lanes from Sector 18 to 61 were opened to traffic.
- By Monday, the road is expected to be fully operational during the day, although it will be closed from 10 PM to 6 AM nightly for ongoing works.
- The third phase will extend from Sector 61 to the C block in front of Sector 31. Traffic management will be challenging during this period, with likely congestion affecting drivers, particularly in areas where the road is under repair.
- Despite the partial opening, one lane will remain restricted on Monday due to stored materials.
Traffic Advisory:
Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid potential delays. Those traveling from Sector 61 towards Sector 18 can use the lower part of the elevated road or enter from Sector 31 loop to join the elevated road towards Sector 18.
