चौकाने वाला बयान
ओमान के वित्त मंत्री ने एक सर्कुलर जारी कर बहुत ही चौकाने वाला बयान दिया है। ministers, undersecretaries और सरकारी संस्थानों के कुछ कर्मचारियों के कई भत्ते और विशेषाधिकार रद्द कर दिया गया है। मंत्रालय ने यह भी कहा है कि यह फैसला मंत्रालय और कई खर्चों के आधार पर लिया गया है।
बंद किए जा रहे विशेषाधिकार
बंद किए जा रहे विशेषाधिकारों में children’s education allowance, health insurance, life insurance, clothes allowance और विभिन्न तरह के bonuses शामिल हैं।
उच्च भत्ते में 50% की कमी की जाएगी
बताते चलें कि उच्च भत्ते में 50% की कमी की जाएगी और बाकी भत्ते को रद्द कर दिया जाएगा।
हालांकि judicial authority (judges and those of similar rank), medical and auxiliary medical jobs in governmental medical institutions (civilian and military), jobs of the diplomatic corps at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (expatriate allowance), academics, teachers और air navigation jobs इससे बाहर रहेंगी।
