सऊदी आरामको रियाद रिफ़ाइनरी में फिर से हमला, अलर्ट जारी, आधा दर्जन ड्रोन से अब तक हमला

सऊदी अरब ने कहा है कि शुक्रवार तड़के राजधानी रियाद में एक तेल प्रतिष्ठान पर ड्रोन हमले के चलते उसमें आग लग गई है। सऊदी अरब की सरकारी समाचार एजेंसी ने ऊर्जा मंत्रालय के एक अधिकारी के हवाले से जानकारी दी है कि हमले में कोई घायल नहीं हुआ है और न ही कोई नुकसान हुआ।

प्रतिष्ठान में तेल की आपूर्ति पर भी इसका प्रभाव नहीं पड़ा है। इससे पहले शुक्रवार को ही यमन के ईरान समर्थित हूती विद्रोहियों ने कहा था कि उन्होंने सऊदी अरब की तेल कंपनी अरामको से संबंधित रियाद में स्थित प्रतिष्ठान पर छह ड्रोन दागे हैं। सऊदी अरब ने हमले की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा की है।

The attack at dawn on the refinery is the second major assault this month on Saudi energy installations, highlighting a dangerous escalation of Yemen’s six-year conflict between the Saudi-backed Yemeni government and the Iran-linked Huthis.

“The Riyadh oil refinery was attacked by drones, resulting in a fire that has been brought under control,” the Saudi energy ministry said in a statement, adding that no casualties were reported and oil supplies were not disrupted.
