भारतीय रेलवे में कोरोना काल के बाद से खत्म हुए कंसेशन अभी तक बहाल नहीं हुए हैं. रियायती दरों पर सफर करने वाले बुजुर्ग और स्पेशल योग्यता रखने वाले लोग जैसे कि मान्यता प्राप्त पत्रकार इत्यादि काफी समय से इसका का इंतजार कर रहे थे.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दाखिल हुए एक याचिका पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाते हुए रेलवे में कंसेशन अर्थात रियायती किराए को लेकर अपना रुख स्पष्ट कर दिया है. बुजुर्गों के लिए मिलने वाले रियायती किराए को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि यहां देना और ना देना केंद्र के द्वारा चलाए जा रहे रेल विभाग के अंतर्गत आता है जो रेलवे के भविष्य को देखते हुए इन पर फैसला लेगा.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने याचिका को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि इस बार सुप्रीम कोर्ट के तरफ से किसी प्रकार की कार्यवाही नहीं की जाएगी और ना ही कोई टिप्पणी की जाएगी. यह पूर्ण रूप से मंत्रालय और पूरे संचालन इको सिस्टम का मामला है.
इन लोगों को मिलते रहेगी सुविधाएं और रियायती दरों पर यात्रा का अवसर.
आपको बताते चलें कि भारतीय रेलवे देश में सफर कर रहे दिव्यांग जनों के लिए किराए में छूट देती है और उसके साथ ही गंभीर बीमारियों से पीड़ित रोगियों को भी किराए में छूट उपलब्ध कराती है.
इन सबके अलावा इन रोगियों के साथ सफर कर रहे सहायक यात्री को छूट का हक मिलता है.
केवल इन रोगियों को मिलता है.
