Hamdan, My Supporter

To the supporter who departed to the sublime world,

I bear witness to his endless support.

I solemnly know he is unmatchable

and an opinion maker who is pure and right.

Flawlessly he handled his affairs.

Well-organised he was for sure.

The announcement of his death shook up the chandelier

and the earth nearly widened with its inhabitants.

How would a gleaming star like you leave us?

We are not yet satiated with your wisdom and courage.

Praise to you, Hamdan. You purely manifested

deeds of goodness and wise judgment.

Our nation testifies that your task is accomplished.

Your fingerprint shall not wither and your deeds are praiseworthy.

It is with you and men like you that nations rise up,

with iron-willed men.

You are my brother who I looked up to as a role model.

I was fortunate to have you in this world and happy

in the hospitality of God, the Forgiving

of his servants who will gain the martyr title.

You were truthful in word and deed.

You were clear. You were a man of the word.

Your say was one and is proven by your effort.

You took the path of righteousness without veering off.

Hope you brought to your home and family.

Since childhood, you praised the noble.

O horse lover, noble and hero,

you were ahead of your time and had a glorious past.

We celebrate what remains of your memory

and your name is immortal until the promised day.
