GulfHindi.com is funded by advertising. This page sets out how we label it, what we refuse, and what advertising money does not buy.
Labelling
- Sponsored content is labelled "Sponsored" or "Advertisement" at the top of the unit, in every placement — on the homepage, in listings, in the article itself and in any social or notification promotion of it.
- Sponsored articles carry the advertiser's name. They are not given a journalist's byline.
- Affiliate links, where used, are disclosed in the article.
- Display advertising is visually separated from editorial content.
What advertising does not buy
- Advertisers do not see, review or influence editorial content before publication.
- We do not accept payment to publish, alter or remove a news article.
- We do not offer favourable coverage as part of an advertising package, and we do not withdraw critical coverage because of one.
- Advertising performance plays no part in editorial commissioning decisions.
What we refuse
We decline advertising that is misleading, or that promotes:
- illegal products or services in India or the Gulf states we serve;
- paid-for jobs, visa "guarantees", or recruitment fees — a persistent scam against our readership;
- unlicensed financial, investment or crypto schemes, and money-transfer operators without a licence;
- unproven medical claims or treatments;
- gambling, adult content, and content that demeans any community.
We also reserve the right to refuse or withdraw any advertisement without giving a reason.
Programmatic advertising
A large share of our advertising is served programmatically by Google and its partners. We do not select those individual ads, and we apply category blocks against the classes above. If you see an ad on GulfHindi that breaches this policy, send us a screenshot and the page URL at [email protected] and we will block it.

Advertiser responsibility
The advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and legality of its advertisement, and for any product or service it offers. Their presence on GulfHindi is not an endorsement by us — see our disclaimer.
